Available vacancies include Customs Superintendent Cadre (CONSOLE 08) (applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or equivalent from a recognised university or polytechnic and an NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate), Customs Inspector Cadre (CONSOLE 06) (OND, NCE, or equivalent qualification), and Customs Assistant Cadre (CONSOLE 03/04) (Secondary School Certificate with at least five (5) credits, including English and Mathematics.

- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
- No age requirement.
- Must not have a criminal record.
- Must not belong to any secret society or cult and must not be involved in drug-related activities.
- Present a valid certificate of state or local government of origin.
- Other acceptable qualifications include a Trade Test Certificate or proficiency certificates approved by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity.
