Enugu, Nigeria – The Enugu State Government, through the Post Primary Schools Management Board (PPSMB), has not yet announced the commencement of the 2025 teachers’ recruitment exercise. The Board has highlighted specific subject areas where teachers are needed. These include:

Graduates in related fields such as Geophysics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Electrical/Electronic Engineering are also encouraged to apply.

Enugu State Teachers Recruitment Requirements 2025

Interested candidates must meet the following criteria to qualify for the recruitment exercise:

• Minimum qualification: Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE).
• Preferred qualifications: TRCN certification, Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc., B.Ed., B.Eng., B.Tech., HND).
• Higher degrees (MA, MSc., PhD) are also eligible.
• Evidence of strong knowledge in the subject area.
• Commitment to professional growth and adherence to public service ethics.
• Applicants should not exceed 45 years of age.
• Willingness to work in any location within Enugu State.
• Five O’ Level credit passes, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings.

Enugu State Teachers Recruitment Deadline

The previous application start date was 6th May 2024 while the end date is 6th June 2024, which makes it exactly one (1) month. However, no deadline yet as of 2025.

The PPSMB has stressed that the application process is free of charge. Candidates are advised not to make any payments to individuals or groups claiming to facilitate employment. Anyone caught engaging in such activities will face disqualification and potential prosecution.

PPSMB Screening and Selection Process
